Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents safely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, and healthcare team.
• Proven experience as a Charge Nurse or in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing team.
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, vital signs, and wound care.
• Assess and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the RN Manager and team.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records including resident records and medication administration.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments (therapy, dietary, social services) for comprehensive care.
