Grease Monkey Mobile is seeking a dependable Key Holder for a Full-Time Lube Technician role in Mobile, AL. The position involves opening/closing duties, leadership tasks, and delivering efficient, friendly service while overseeing daily operations.

Responsibilities include oil changes, fluid checks, and minor vehicle services, as well as inventory management and customer support. Strong communication and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service or retail environment.
• Automotive experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic with integrity and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Must pass a company background check; must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Unlock and secure the location at the beginning and end of shifts.
• In the absence of the Center Manager, handle daily deposits and secure the location safe.
• Ensure security of cash from the register and close the store safe per protocols.
• Assist in leading the team during daily operations and optimize workflow.
• Perform and oversee oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and minor vehicle services.
• Maintain inventory and report needs to the Center Manager.
• Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards in service bays and customer areas.
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve basic issues or complaints.
• Report anomalies to the Center Manager or Assistant Store Manager; escalate safety or conduct concerns to District Manager as needed.
• Train and mentor new employees.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
