Job summary

Inspirations of Mount Washington is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to lead shift operations in our dedicated senior living community. You will coordinate resident care, delegate tasks to RCAs and MTs, and administer medications per MAR under supervision of the Wellness Director.

The role requires a nursing license in the state, at least two years of nursing experience, and English proficiency. Prior assisted living or dementia care experience is a plus; physical health and background

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Must be a licensed nurse in state where you work.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Experience in an Assisted Living setting preferred. Dementia care experience preferred.
• Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases; lifting 40 pounds required.
• Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift as team leader; coordinate care and delegate tasks to RCAs and MTs.
• Administer medications according to physician orders and MAR.
• Document medications and monitor MAR accuracy.
• Conduct change of shift reports and ensure proper medication security.
• Monitor resident charts and report significant changes to physician and responsible party.
• Orient and assist with on‑the‑job training of new associates and evaluate skills.
• Maintain e-call system and ensure timely caregiver response.
• Follow CDC/OSHA safety rules and standard precautions.
