Job summary

Quail Park Communities is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for Quail Park of West Seattle. You will monitor and assess residents, mentor Care Partners and Medication Techs, and ensure high-quality care while promoting dignity and respect.

Responsibilities include assessments, care plans, family communications, medication management support, and compliance with state regulations. We offer comprehensive benefits and a team‑oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in good standing with state authority.
• Experience in training and developing team members preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Proficient in English communication, reading/writing/speaking.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Care Partners and Medication Techs in care and med management.
• Assist with resident assessment and care plan implementation.
• Participate in care conferences with families and health director.
• Communicate with residents, families and physicians about health issues.
• Monitor changes in resident conditions; document and intervene.
• Provide nursing tasks as defined by policy and state law.
• Support medication management, ensure safe dispensing and accurate MARs.
• Monitor health concerns: weight, nutrition, skin integrity, mobility, falls, pain.
• Review health records and ensure documentation meets standards.
• Serve as a role model for courtesy, dignity, and professional interaction.
• Ensure resident care is safe and respectful; mentor caregiving staff.
• Contribute to performance reviews and address team performance concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA/state regulations related to resident care.
