Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Clinic RN. Responsibilities include administering medications, assisting with diagnostic studies, and supporting the care delivery team.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of nursing experience, graduation from a nursing specialty program, and active BLS certification. This on-site role emphasizes patient needs, quality care, and collaboration within the department.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and LPN licensure required.
• Experience providing patient care in clinical settings preferred.
• Ability to document and communicate patient information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Document chief complaint, vitals, and preparatory steps for exams.
• Administer medications and treatments per procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam and treatment areas.
• Assist with diagnostic studies and procedures as needed.
• Inserts and manages IV lines as required by providers.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team on patient care plans.
