Geisinger is seekingLicensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for outpatient clinic teams at Geisinger Medical Center. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Expect responsibilities across patient intake, exams, and basic clinical support in a collaborative ambulatory care setting. Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing with an LPN license and BLS certification; 1 year nursing experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and BLS certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provides primary clinical support to the provider, patient and family.
• Follows up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion and accuracy.
• Promotes a clean environment and sterile technique.
• Administers medications and vaccines per scope of practice.
• Prepares patient for examinations and documents history and vital signs.
