Job summary

Qualifications

• Current L.P.N. license recognized and in good standing with the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS – Current or within 6 months of hire.
• PALS – Current or within 6 months of hire.
• Able to make decisions under pressure.
• Able to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and evaluate total nursing care.
• Uses good communication skills with patients, families and team members.
• Assist Case Management by being a patient advocate and contact for patients.
• Provides basic education information to patients and family about self-care.
• Performs patient assessments and documents data (chief complaint, allergies, vitals).
• Administers medications and intravenous solutions following the 7 rights and reports lab values.
