Job summary

Cleveland Area Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care and clinical leadership across all ages. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while coordinating with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

The role includes oversight of Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, adherence to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act, and collaboration with the DON/CNO to drive performance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current R.N. license recognized and in good standing with the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification current or within 6 months of hire.
• PALS certification current or within 6 months of hire.
• Able to make decisions under pressure.
• Able to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate total nursing care.
• Communicate with patients, families, and team members.
• Assist Case Management by acting as patient advocate and contact person.
• Provide basic education to patients and families on self-care.
• Perform assessment data collection and document data.
• Administer medications and IV solutions and report critical labs.
• Remain calm during peak periods and emergencies.
• Assist provider with examinations and procedures.
• Utilize universal precautions in patient care.
• Other duties as required.
