Job summary

Chateau Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Illinois is seeking dynamic and compassionate LPNs to provide individualized care alongside our clinical and therapy teams. You will help enrich residents' lives through dedicated, respectful, and reliable nursing support in a fast-paced extended care setting.

Responsibilities include directing nursing assistants, completing admission/discharge documentation, administering medications, and daily rounds.

Qualifications

• Valid Nursing License as required by the state.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Compliance with state background check requirements.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and visitors.
• Ability to undertake diverse care tasks in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of nursing assistants.
• Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart/document per policy.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician and perform other drug administration functions.
• Make daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
