Extended Care LLC is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate care within our facility in Illinois. The role focuses on directing nursing assistants, documenting resident records, and assisting with medications under physician orders.

Qualifications

Valid Nursing License as required by the state.
Ability to work every other weekend.
Compliance with the state Health Care Worker Background Check requirements.
Able to relate positively and favorably to residents and visitors.
Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Direct the day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants.
Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by a physician and perform other drug administration functions per established policies.
Make daily rounds of the unit and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
