Qualifications

• Degree in Practical Nursing.
• Current Ohio LPN license.
• CPR certification; knowledge of sterile technique.
• Minimum 2 years of LPN experience with OSUP or OSU in the last year.
• Preceptor designation preferred.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services under the supervision of a physician or midlevel provider.
• Administer nursing procedures per patient care plans (dressings, treatments, oxygen, catheterization, diabetic care, pre/post-operative care).
• Lead day-to-day work and productivity of patient care staff.
• Advise staff on problem solving patient/customer issues.
• Assist supervisor with scheduling time off and daily assignments.
• Support scheduling and operational improvements as needed.
