The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide skilled nursing services under the direction of a physician or midlevel provider.

The LPN will contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment and execute care plans, including sterile dressings and post-operative care. Responsibilities include rooming patients, documenting vital signs, administering medications, and coordinating specimen handling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Practical Nursing is required.
• Current Practical Nursing License in the state of Ohio is required.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards is required.
• Knowledge of procedures and standards for administration of medications and patient care aids is preferred.
• Compassionate, team-oriented approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care within the LPN scope of practice, including rooming patients and documenting vital signs.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, testing, and real-time documentation.
• Monitor patient conditions and coordinate laboratory specimens, results, and follow-up care.
• Maintain clinical operations by sterilizing equipment, managing supplies, and ensuring safety and compliance.
• Demonstrate professionalism through punctuality, teamwork, and ongoing skills training.
