Priority Management is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Charge Nurse for St Joseph Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Monroe, LA. You will supervise nursing staff, administer medications, monitor residents, and coordinate individualized care plans with the healthcare team.

The role requires LA licensure, 1–2 years of experience, BLS/CPR, and strong leadership and communication skills to ensure high-quality resident care. PRN shifts offered with hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing aides and LPNs, ensuring policy compliance.
• Administer medications and monitor residents' vital signs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and changes in health status.
• Communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team about care plans.
• Assist in training new nursing staff and orientation.
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with other professionals as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the facility.
• Order and manage medications per the care plan.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Collaborate on care planning and coordination of resident activities.
