Job summary
Americare Senior Living seeks a Charge Nurse (LPN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and exceptional resident care in our skilled nursing community. You will oversee nursing services during shifts, supervise caregiving teams, and ensure residents’ needs are met with professionalism and compliance.
You will support regulatory adherence, administer medications, and coordinate with families, physicians, and leadership.
Qualifications
- Current LPN license required.
- Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations.
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing services and clinical supervision on shifts.
- Ensure compliance with care standards and policies.
- Supervise LPNs, CNAs, CMAs.
- Complete resident assessments and care plans.
- Communicate changes to families and physicians.
- Administer medications per orders.
- Conduct rounds to meet resident needs.
- Report incidents and concerns.
- Ensure supplies and meds available.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
