Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (LPN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and resident care in our skilled nursing community in Kennett, MO. You’ll oversee nursing services during shifts, supervise caregiving teams, and ensure care meets state and Americare standards with compassion and professionalism.

This role requires an active LPN license and strong clinical judgment, with experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services during assigned shifts.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs.
• Complete and update resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and leadership.
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure resident needs are being met.
• Address, document, and report incidents, accidents, and concerns.
