Job summary

Prime Partners is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Lead Technician in Atlanta to lead a crew on commercial security installations. You will install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling, and commission access control and CCTV systems.

You will read blueprints and coordinate with project managers to keep projects on schedule while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial low voltage experience.
• 2+ years leading crews on commercial projects.
• Strong experience with access control and IP CCTV systems.
• Proficient in pulling, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting copper and fiber cabling.
• Ability to read blueprints and manage installations independently.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews on commercial low voltage and security installations.
• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling.
• Install and commission access control, CCTV, intrusion, and other security systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics.
• Coordinate daily tasks with project managers and ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Train and mentor junior technicians while maintaining quality workmanship.
