Job summary

Recore Electrical Contractors, Inc. near Charlotte, NC is seeking a Lead Low Voltage Electrician to join our on-site team. You will supervise a crew in installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems, fire alarms, access control, CCTV, fiber, and network cabling.

You must troubleshoot quickly, read blueprints, mentor technicians, and coordinate with the Low Voltage Supervisor to ensure quality work and timely service calls. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of low voltage systems including security, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and network cabling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience supervising and mentoring technicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist our team of low voltage technicians in installation, maintenance, and repair of all low voltage systems.
• Assign tasks to and oversee the work of low voltage technicians.
• Train and mentor low voltage technicians.
• Ensure low voltage systems are installed and maintained to high standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex low voltage problems.
• Develop and implement new low voltage installation and maintenance procedures.
• Manage the low voltage budget.
• Collaborate with the Low Voltage Supervisor on system development.
• Respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects.
