Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Senior Low Voltage Estimating Manager in the Denver area to lead cost estimates for low voltage and communications systems on diverse projects. You will review drawings, prepare detailed estimates, and guide preconstruction activities to ensure competitive pricing.

Join a employee-owned contractor with a long history of delivering complex projects. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of estimating experience are required, along with strong communication

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years experience estimating low voltage systems.
Experience developing complete low voltage estimates from conceptual design through final bid submission.
Strong understanding of low voltage industry standards and procurement processes.
Effective written and oral communication to clients
Ability to work in a high‑performance team
Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Review project specs, drawings, and RFIs to prepare complete low voltage cost estimates.
Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs for accuracy.
Develop budgets, ROM pricing, and value engineering options.
Lead estimate reviews with leadership and project teams.
Maintain market knowledge of labor trends and pricing
Mentor junior estimators and support business development
