Award-winning AV company is seeking a skilled Lead AV Technician who can confidently handle high-end AV installations and service calls. The role involves working with sophisticated systems like Lutron and Control 4. You will lead a team in the field, maintain high standards, and ensure all work is done with precision and professionalism.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform AV installations including pulling wire, terminating cables, installing speakers, and mounting shades, along with troubleshooting and quality control
• Ensure all installations meet high standards, with a focus on clean, meticulous work
• Mentor junior technicians, setting an example of professional conduct and craftsmanship
• Travel to various job sites as required
• Communicate with project manager

Skills and Abilities

• Effectively communicate with colleagues and other trades on job sites
• Work and think independently to meet project deadlines
• Handle multiple tasks and stay composed in high-pressure situations
• Use hand tools effectively

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as an AV Technician required
• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
• Formal education in electronics or related field is a plus, but not required
• Valid Driver's License and a clean motor vehicle record
• Experience with Crestron, Savant, Control 4, and Lutron systems is preferred

Physical Demands

• Standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs

Compensation

• $27 - $37 per hour based on experience. Bonus eligible.
