Job summary

Dexian seeks a Senior Lead Software Engineer for Equities Electronic Trading in a hybrid Jersey City / NYC setting. You will design and deliver a next-generation, low-latency execution platform supporting algorithmic trading, SOR, dark pool and high-throughput data processing.

You will lead a cross-functional team, partnering with traders and quants to continuously improve performance, resilience, and liquidity access in a globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in building high-performance electronic trading or related low-latency systems.
• Experience with low-latency, high-throughput architecture and concurrency control.
• Strong automated testing practices and QA collaboration.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes.
• Experience leading development teams in a global, distributed environment.
• Knowledge of regional exchange microstructure and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance, low-latency electronic execution systems.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and clients to translate needs into product features.
• Improve testing frameworks and development tools for reliability at scale.
• Leverage AI-powered tools throughout the SDLC to boost productivity and quality.
• Lead Agile practices and CI/CD with a focus on shift-left testing.
• Build and enhance monitoring, reconciliation and recovery solutions.
