Job summary

DV Trading seeks a senior C++ Software Engineer for DV Commodities in New York to lead the design and delivery of a greenfield, ultra-low-latency trading platform covering execution, market data, and risk management.

You will own components end-to-end, connect directly to major exchanges, and work with quants and desks on new pricing and execution algorithms within a small, high-performance team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional C++ development with modern features and concurrency.
• Experience building low-latency, high-throughput, multi-threaded systems for quantitative trading.
• Strong knowledge of exchange mechanics and native exchange protocols (iLink/MDP, ICE, FIX/SBE).
• Direct experience with futures/commodities markets; energy assets a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and deployment of DV Commodities' core C++ trading platform: execution, order management, market data, pricing, and risk.
• Design and maintain direct exchange connectivity — gateways and feed handlers for CME, ICE, and other markets.
• Drive microsecond-/nanosecond-level performance work and latency measurements.
• Collaborate with trading desks, quants, and developers on new features and pricing/algo implementations.
• Build high-performance components for simulation and live trading.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle from design to production support in a live trading environment.
