Job summary

Cox in Bordentown, NJ is seeking a Fleet/Shuttle Driver to orient and assist with vehicle moves, manage daily shuttle runs, and coordinate with the lot manager to ensure timely pickup and drop-off of employees and vehicles.

You will lead a small team on sale days, monitor safety procedures, and maintain vehicle logs and stock numbers while ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with related experience or equivalent.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with both standard and automatic transmissions.
• Basic mechanical knowledge (tires, fuel, jump starting).
• Ability to stand, walk, talk, hear, and lift up to 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Orient and instruct new drivers regarding their duties and assist supervisor in directing work.
• Communicate with supervisor to assure proper flow of vehicles and track stock numbers.
• Relay schedules and assignments to crew members.
• Lead the team on sale days and coordinate with lot management.
• Move requirements coordination with lot manager and quadrant coordinator.
• Ensure vans are staged properly and transport employees/vehicles as scheduled.
• Shuttle employees to parking and remote sites; manage vehicle inventory discipline.
