Job summary

TRP Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Longline Foreman for our Central Florida Sanford, FL site. You will lead a highway striping crew installing thermoplastic and painted pavement markings, reading plans, and coordinating daily field activities.

The role requires pavement marking experience, crew leadership, and safety discipline. You will train crew members, ensure quality, and report progress to management on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Pavement marking experience required; longline thermoplastic experience strongly preferred.
• Previous crew leadership experience and clear communication are essential.
• Ability to read plans, take measurements, and calculate quantities.
• Knowledge of pavement marking installation, equipment setup, and safety procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment, with reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew installing thermoplastic and painted roadway markings; operate longline trucks and related equipment.
• Plan daily work, assign duties, and coordinate equipment and materials with the supervisor.
• Read plans and verify layout, line locations, widths, colors, and patterns.
• Monitor conditions and adjust equipment to meet project specs and FDOT requirements.
• Conduct safety briefings and enforce PPE and safe material handling.
• Verify installed quantities and submit daily reports of locations, hours, and materials.
• Communicate progress and field issues to management and inspectors; reference changes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain trucks and equipment.
• Train crew members in layout, operation, and installation; ensure productivity and quality.
