2 Circle, Inc. seeks a Weapon System Architect to own the thread from requirements to fielded configuration for a long-range weapon system. You will decompose operational needs into specifications, maintain the architecture across variants, and manage interfaces with host platforms.

Responsibilities include verification, traceability, producibility assessment, and lifecycle cost analysis. The role requires a strong engineering background in weapon systems, production experience on fielded

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Active TS clearance required; SCI eligibility preferred.
• On-site at Eglin AFB, FL.
• Engineering background in weapon or missile systems - RF, seeker, guidance, propulsion, structures, or low observable.
• Demonstrated production and lifecycle experience on a fielded system.
• Production configuration management, supply chain risk, and obsolescence management.

Responsibilities

• Own the thread from requirement through fielded configuration and verification.
• Decompose operational requirements into system and subsystem specifications.
• Maintain architecture across a family of weapon variants and ensure interface control with host platforms.
• Establish verification criteria and preserve traceability through modeling, integration and test.
• Assess producibility, evaluate supplier submittals, and manage life-cycle cost implications.
• Support engineering change proposals, VECPs, and pricing/negotiation foundations.
