Job summary

Trex Company is seeking a Logistics Technician- Assistant Team Lead in Fernley, NV. This on-site role supports the warehouse team to ensure safe, efficient daily operations and seamless material flow.

The ATL will lead associates, assist with cycle counts and shipping/receiving, and drive safety and accuracy in loading trailers. Strong English, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Safety and quality conscious.
• Detail-oriented with good task management.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Put Safety first—always.
• Lead a team of warehouse associates to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with cycle counts, invoice verification, and corrections.
• Ensure trailers are loaded safely and accurately.
• Support shipping and receiving coordination as needed.
• Assist training and cross-training of LTs to backup functions.
• Coordinate order fulfillment activities and ensure timely shipments.
• Support inventory control activities and safety training compliance.
• Facilitate clear cross-department communication.
