Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior operations leader to manage our distribution center, drive demand planning, inventory control, and continuous improvement. You will partner with site leadership to meet service levels, optimize costs, and ensure client compliance across all activities.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with complex demand planning activities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio).
• Working knowledge of statistical methods and forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field (preferred).
• APICS certification (preferred).
• 2 years of managerial/supervisory experience (preferred).
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred).
• Lean manufacturing principles (preferred).
• Warehousing or 3PL experience (preferred).
• Experience in quality, inventory, data mining and problem solving (preferred).
• Resource and project management experience (preferred).
• Experience in AS9100 or ISO environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead/direct all support functions of the distribution center, quality/continuous improvement, inventory management, data research and operational planning.
• Support Operations teams to ensure service level standards and client compliance.
• Research and plan inbound and/or outbound loads.
• Identify growth opportunities with current customers and promote enhanced services or cost savings.
• Handle costs, mitigate risks and create value to achieve net revenue goals.
• Track, record and maintain quality data; monitor processes and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain cycle count program and meet SLA standards.
• Identify and deploy cost-saving initiatives through standardized improvement processes.
• Oversee interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training and performance reviews for direct reports.
