Cook Solutions Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Full-Time Locksmith with a strong focus on customer service, communication, and time management. The role involves installing, repairing, and servicing mechanical or electrical locking devices using hand and power tools, with responsibilities including documentation and inventory control.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 5–10 years locksmith experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five to ten years locksmith experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel up to a week if necessary.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must lift up to 100 pounds and regularly up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles locks, such as padlocks, safe locks, vault locks, door locks and teller locks.
• Repairs or replaces worn tumblers, springs, and other parts.
• Inserts new or repaired tumblers into lock to change combination.
• Cuts new or duplicate keys, using key cutting machine.
• Moves lock pick in cylinder to open door locks without keys.
• Opens safe and vault locks by drilling.
• Maintains and controls assigned truck stock inventory.
• Tests all installed/serviced equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with customers’ requirements.
• Communicates important project status information to management as necessary.
• Completes and turns in all required paperwork in a timely manner according to established procedures and deadlines.
