Job summary

Amerijet International is seeking a Loadmaster in Miami, FL to ensure the safe loading and offloading of cargo in compliance with FAA requirements and company standards. The Loadmaster coordinates with the Pilot-In-Command, ramp staff and ground personnel to verify weight and balance and complete essential cargo documentation.

The role demands strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with hazardous materials handling and regulatory procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
• Administration and computer skills required.
• Customer service and conflict resolution experience a plus.
• Hazardous Materials handling and weight/balance certification preferred.
• Airline/freight forwarding experience preferred.
• Bilingual English-Spanish desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise safe aircraft loading and offloading operations.
• Direct labor groups to ensure safety, efficiency and legality.
• Liaise with customers, vendors and authorities for compliance.
• Prepare weight and balance, dangerous goods and security docs.
• Ensure cargo is properly packaged, labeled, weighed and documented.
• Operate cargo doors and report damaged or missing components.
• Conduct station audits and training for staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
