Job summary

BHE GT&S invites experienced LNG engineers to join Cove Point LNG facility in Lusby, MD. The LNG Engineer roles cover electrical power systems, protection schemes, and reliability improvements across 13.8 kV and 4.16 kV networks. Responsibilities include modeling, arc-flash compliance, MOC/HAZOP input, and mentoring younger engineers.

On-call rotation and relocation assistance are available. Ideal candidates have PE license preferred and a strong background in industrial power systems and LNG

Qualifications

• Knowledge and application of engineering principles and fundamentals.
• Developmental experience in a professional engineering position.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and apply knowledge to projects.
• Understanding of configuration management and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant-wide technical authority for electrical power systems operation.
• Develop, test, and maintain protective relay settings for 13.8 kV and 4.16 kV.
• Maintain arc-flash program and NFPA 70E compliance.
• Support root cause analyses and MOC/HAZOP input for projects and outages.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in on-call rotations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

Master's degree preferred
