Job summary

The University of New Mexico is seeking a Senior Audio-Visual Tech to set up and operate broadcast equipment for live and recorded events at the Albuquerque campus. You will supervise staff, help train others, and oversee parts of the event production workflow.

You will troubleshoot, maintain equipment, manage inventory, and assist with scheduling. The role is on-call, non-exempt, with an hourly pay range of $20.00–$25.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of related experience.
• Completed degrees above minimum may substitute for experience year-for-year.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and maintains audio and video equipment.
• Operates equipment for live and recorded events.
• Assists with moving equipment between venues.
• Schedules staff for events and may supervise others.
• Trains staff on equipment use and best practices.
• Collaborates with supervisor on event execution.
