Job summary

Community Bible Church San Antonio is seeking an Audio Engineer (A1) to deliver exceptional audio experiences during worship services and special events. The ideal candidate will manage live mixing, systems engineering, and collaborate with creative teams.

This full-time role involves working flexible hours, including weekends. Applicants with 3+ years in live audio production and experience in church or broadcast environments are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in church, touring, concert, or broadcast production environments preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in high-pressure live production environments.
• Experience mentoring volunteers or technical team members.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead A1 for weekend worship services and special events.
• Mix high-level FOH, monitor, overflow, and broadcast audio environments.
• Collaborate closely with worship leaders and production teams.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced live audio systems.
• Maintain organized documentation including patch sheets and signal flow diagrams.
