Curated Events See Hear Productions is seeking an experienced Audio Engineer for live events in Covington, LA. You will ensure top-notch sound for audiences and performers, overseeing system design, tuning, and operation across venues.

The role requires skilled handling of various consoles (Yamaha, DiGiCo, Midas), strong knowledge of signal flow, and the ability to work evenings/nights and travel as needed. Collaboration with artists and production teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in Audio Engineering or related field preferred, but relevant experience valued.
• 5+ years live sound experience in diverse settings (concerts, festivals, corporate events, theatres).
• Strong knowledge of signal flow, gain structure, EQ, dynamics, FX.
• Proficiency with digital/analog systems including Dante/AVB/AES50.
• Experience with stage monitoring, RF coordination, and troubleshooting under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as top priority and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Supervise, lead, train, and mentor audio technicians and support personnel.
• Specify audio systems appropriate for artists, venues, and audiences.
• Specify components for complete installation of audio systems.
• Communicate and problem-solve with clients, artists, engineers, and reps.
• Operate consoles and systems for shows.
• Develop advanced patching schemes for shows.
• Troubleshoot audio systems and related equipment.
• Maintain, calibrate, and repair audio gear.
• Develop stage/input plots and audio system models.
• Determine hang points for speakers and time-delay setups.
• Perform RF coordination and other shop support duties.
