Qualifications

• Experience as Journeyman Lineman or leadsman/foreman.
• Ability to supervise project aspects including safety and planning.
• Ability to perform high-voltage maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Communicate verbally and understand audible signals in safety situations.
• Troubleshoot outages and perform installation and maintenance on distribution systems.
• Perform rubber gloving for high- and low-voltage lines and equipment.
• Install and retire overhead and underground lines.
• Work at heights including climbing poles and bucket work.
• Frame, install, or replace poles.
• Maintain lines and substations; adjust structures as needed.
• Operate heavy equipment such as diggers and bucket trucks.
