BBQ King Smokehouse & Tavern is seeking a talented Professional Line Cook to join our team. You’ll be responsible for creating and building menu items, preparing delicious meals to our standards of quality, presentation, and consistency, and leading when needed during service.

We’re a family-owned, award-winning restaurant known for Real Wood, Real Smoke, Real Food. This role offers growth through hands-on training and the chance to advance into leadership as we expand to two more locations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook.
• Real-world kitchen experience.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification.
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes.
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment.
• Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to other team members.
• Maintain inventory and restock when necessary.
• Follow all food safety regulations.
• Deliver friendly, professional service that keeps guests coming back.
