Job summary

EideCom in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Lighting Technician to design, program, and operate lighting systems for live events nationwide, collaborating with elite production teams.

Ideal candidates have 2–4+ years of live event lighting experience, mastery of professional consoles (grandMA preferred), and a proven ability to travel up to 50% while delivering precise, broadcast-ready lighting for both stage and IMAG contexts.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in live event lighting production or a similar role.
• Strong experience programming and operating professional lighting consoles, preferably grandMA.
• Experience deploying and operating professional lighting systems in live event environments.
• Strong understanding of lighting system design, fixture selection, DMX, networking, signal distribution, and power requirements.
• Experience creating professional stage washes and lighting environments appropriate for broadcast and IMAG.
• Working knowledge of rigging practices and coordinating lighting with rigging teams.
• Ability to read, understand, and execute lighting plots and technical drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Clear and professional communication across teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel nationally up to 50% of the time.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
