Job summary

RELX INC is seeking a Team Lead for Scientific Discovery Platforms in Bangalore to guide a team of 5-10 Data Analysts supporting Reaxys and Embase. You will blend life sciences expertise with data and AI-enabled product delivery to ensure high-quality search and API outputs.

You will drive data models, pipelines, QA, and stakeholder alignment across product teams, setting rigorous quality standards and delivering data-driven improvements for researchers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Masters/PhD in Bioinformatics or Cheminformatics related field.
• Strong data analysis and scripting with Python and Bash.
• Collaborative mindset and cross-functional teamwork.
• Experience with AI/GenAI testing frameworks and analytical workflows.
• Experience with relational/analytical databases and cloud platforms such as PostgreSQL, AWS, or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Lead SMEs evaluating Reaxys and Embase search and API quality.
• Improve discoverability through data models and pipelines.
• Oversee QA, testing, and feature releases.
• Escalate API changes with expert insight.
• Provide usage insights for data-driven improvements.
• Represent customer perspectives in product development and delivery.
• Set quality standards for search and API outputs.
