Job summary

Accenture is seeking an Integration Lead Architect to harmonize diverse applications across life insurance and annuities platforms. You will architect end-to-end integrations, guide architectures, and lead teams to deliver scalable solutions. Travel may be required as client needs dictate.

Strong leadership and hands-on API/data integration expertise are essential. Role focuses on REST API design, event-driven patterns, cloud/on-prem deployments, and governance across AWS/Azure environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise integration architecture and large-scale system integration.
• 8+ years designing REST APIs and event-driven integrations across cloud/on-prem environments.
• 5+ years with MuleSoft, Spring Integration, Kafka, API Gateway, ESB and cloud-native services.
• 5+ years cloud architecture across AWS or Azure; containerized and Kubernetes deployments.
• 5+ years defining API standards, governance, security and scalable integration practices.
• 5+ years observability, resiliency, scalability and operational support for distributed systems.
• 3+ years Life Insurance and Annuities domain experience (New Business, Underwriting, Policy Administration).
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end integration architectures including APIs, middleware, data flows, and orchestration.
• Develop integration strategy and roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
• Lead and mentor integration teams; guide best practices and tooling.
• Act as liaison between business, development teams, and partners.
• Ensure stakeholder expectations align with product capabilities and timelines.
• Engage with potential clients to understand integration needs and propose solutions.
• Oversee deployment, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify risks related to data flow and integration dependencies.
