Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician licensure is required.
• Minimum 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality care and educate clients.
• Train, coach and supervise a team of technicians and assistants.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures as allowed by state Act for credentialed technicians.
• Monitor and assess patient status; collect blood and other samples for testing.
• Place catheters and maintain safe, sterile treatment areas; maintain medical records.
