Job summary

Lochmueller Group is seeking a Licensed Professional Surveyor (PS) to lead and support survey operations across Indiana projects. The role blends field and office work, client interaction, and mentorship to deliver high-quality surveying services.

The ideal candidate will apply sound judgment, adhere to Indiana regulations, and drive success for small to mid-sized projects while collaborating with our Roadway/Highway Design team and other engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Surveyor (PS) in Indiana required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying or equivalent with education/experience.
• Experience in boundary, topographic, and construction surveying preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey crews for boundary, route, topographic, and construction staking surveys.
• Plan and oversee field tasks, data processing, QA/QC, and scheduling.
• Act as primary client contact and mentor junior staff.
• Perform office tasks including deed research, boundary analysis, and CAD handoff.
