Job summary

Oakley is seeking an Optician to educate and elevate customer performance, acting as a leader in retail optical operations. You will engage the community, coach the team, and drive growth through exceptional service while ensuring customers receive top-tier optical products and services.

The role requires a State Optician License, strong communication, and the ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current State Optician License.
• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
• 1+ years of retail sales experience.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to be on your feet most of the day and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional customer experience and provide prompt service.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and explain features/benefits of lenses and frames.
• Lead optical operations and identify opportunities for Rx expansion.
• Foster learning so team members become experts in optical products and services.
• Engage with the local community to attract new customers.
