Job summary

Stonefield Engineering & Design is seeking an experienced Licensed Landscape Architect to join our landscape design team in New Jersey. This role offers leadership in the design and execution of diverse land development projects, collaborating with civil, planning, surveying, and traffic engineering teams.

The candidate will manage landscape architecture from concept through permitting and construction, develop site and planting plans, coordinate with clients, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Professional licensure as a Landscape Architect (LLA/RLA) with ability to obtain additional licenses.
• 5+ years of landscape architecture or land development experience.
• Experience managing and delivering landscape architecture projects.
• Strong understanding of site planning, planting design, grading, hardscape and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead landscape architecture and site design from concept to permitting and construction.
• Develop creative and functional site and planting plans and hardscape design.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation for submissions.
