Job summary

Generator Supercenter, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Electrician in the Shreveport area to lead electrical operations for generator installations, ensuring code compliance and safety.

You will pull wire, bend conduit, install devices, read wiring diagrams, and mentor a growing electrical team while delivering high-quality installations for homes and businesses.

Compensation is competitive with licensure and experience; includes benefits and a company vehicle after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must have previous electrical experience; on-the-job training available.
• Must Hold a Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman license.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• AC and DC electrical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull wire, bend conduit, install and wire up electrical devices.
• Trace wiring and troubleshoot problems.
• Assist in load-testing generator packages.
• Assist in other phases of preparation and setting of power generation equipment and products such as trenching, piping, mechanical components, and civil assembly for setting power generation packages.
• Read wiring diagrams.
• Perform proper installation of all electrical equipment required to complete fabrication of projects (i.e. brackets, conduit, wiring, end devices, panels, etc)
• Be proficient with measuring and electrical testing equipment
• Promote good welfare among the company and its divisions
• Perform other duties as assigned
