Job summary

Generator Supercenter, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Electrician to lead electrical operations for home standby generator installations. You will oversee and verify all wiring to ensure code compliance and quality, with a leadership role across the project lifecycle from review through testing.

The position offers full-time hours in Shreveport and surrounding area, competitive pay based on licensure and experience, and opportunities to mentor a growing electrical team with industry-leading training.

Qualifications

• Must have previous electrical experience; on-the-job training available.
• Must hold a Journeyman Electrician or Residential wireman license.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AC and DC electrical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull wire, bend conduit, install and wire up electrical devices.
• Trace wiring and troubleshoot problems.
• Assist in load-testing generator packages.
• Assist in other phases of preparation and setting of power generation equipment and products.
• Read wiring diagrams.
• Perform proper installation of all electrical equipment for fabrication of projects.
• Be proficient with measuring and electrical testing equipment.
• Promote good welfare among the company and its divisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
