Job summary

Live Out Loud in New York City seeks a Program Manager to oversee day-to-day delivery of school-based programs, manage partnerships with up to 20 NYC schools, and drive curriculum development for youth leadership and LGBTQ+ inclusion.

You will coordinate logistics, track outcomes, support the Young Trailblazers Scholarship Program, and collaborate with the Sr. Program Manager to ensure engaging workshops from October through June and strong community impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in curriculum development, program coordination AND education.
• Experience facilitating workshops or educational programs for youth audiences.
• Strong relationship-building skills with school administrators, educators, and community partners.
• Ability to manage multiple school partnerships and program deliverables simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in NYC public schools across multiple boroughs.
• Deep commitment to LGBTQ+ equity, inclusion, and youth empowerment.
• Proficiency in Airtable, Google Suite, or similar tools for data tracking and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in education, social work, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day delivery of assigned programs: The School Program, Virtual Town Hall meetings for GSA Advisors, and the Young Trailblazers Scholarship Program.
• Owns the full participant experience from first point of contact through program completion.
• Coordinates all logistics including scheduling, materials, venue or school coordination, and vendor relationships.
• Manages school relationships across an assigned portfolio of up to 20 schools per month in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island.
• Delivers school sessions ranging from 60 minutes to 2 hours, maintaining a consistent visit cadence based on each school's preference.
• Tracks attendance, participant outcomes, program and survey data, and submits regular updates to the Sr. Program Manager.
• Identifies challenges or resource needs and escalates appropriately.
• Supports community relationships tied to assigned programs.
