Job summary

Vast Bank in Tulsa, OK seeks a Lending Assistant Supervisor to lead the Commercial Lending Assistant team, ensuring accurate loan administration, due diligence, and timely closing support for business loans.

You will coach and develop staff, implement consistent procedures, monitor workflow, and coordinate with lenders, credit, and operations to deliver complete, compliant loan packages, while maintaining excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of commercial lending assistant, loan administration, loan operations, or related banking experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial loan workflow, documentation, due diligence, closing support, portfolio monitoring, and exception follow-up.
• Ability to supervise, coach, train, and develop team members in a professional and supportive manner.
• Excellent communication skills and high level of confidentiality and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, train, and develop the Commercial Lending Assistant team to ensure consistent performance and effective support for officers and customers.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to Lending Assistants with questions, prioritization, workload management, issue resolution, and escalation of complex matters.
• Assist with onboarding, training plans, and continued development of Lending Assistants.
• Monitor adherence to procedures, documentation standards, confidentiality, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with lending, credit, document preparation, and operations teams to support timely processing and closing of loan packages.

Education

High School Degree or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred.
