Jobot is growing its plaintiff-side lemon law practice in Los Angeles, seeking a lead attorney to manage warranty and consumer protection cases from intake through resolution. The role offers remote flexibility and the chance to lead a new department within a respected firm.

The ideal candidate holds a California J.D., with 3+ years of lemon law experience, exceptional advocacy, and strong negotiation and writing skills. A client-first mindset and ability to handle a large caseload are essential.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active license in California.
• 3+ years of lemon law or consumer warranty litigation.
• Ability to handle a large caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and writing skills.
• Client-focused with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage plaintiff-side warranty and consumer protection cases from intake to resolution.
• Evaluate claims, conduct consultations, and provide sound legal guidance.
• Draft litigation documents including complaints, discovery, law and motion, and settlement demands.
• Negotiate favorable settlements and represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings when necessary.
• Build and maintain strong client communication throughout the legal process.
