Gentex Corporation is seeking a production supervisor to manage a workgroup and drive key metrics through the Management Operating System. The role requires five or more years of leadership experience and P&L awareness, with responsibility for 10–15 employees.

You will coordinate production schedules, lead daily huddles, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while applying Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Competenze

• Must have a BA/BS degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of five years leadership experience.
• P&L understanding and ability to assess impact on profitability.
• Experience with selecting, developing and taking corrective action for employees.
• Manages 10–15 employees under supervision.

Mansioni

• Coordinate production schedule and activities with support departments; resolve problems related to methods, tools, fixtures, materials, and manpower.
• Ensure line machinery is clean, functioning, and safety devices used; apply 6S methodology.
• Lead huddle meetings and motivate team.
• Direct manufacturing staff; minimize downtime; ensure product quality and update skills.
• Identify variances in cost, quality, schedule, and inventory; develop corrective actions.
• Review daily production data; generate reports and update metrics.
