The Wenger Group in Lancaster, PA, seeks a senior Poultry Nutrition Leader to guide layer nutrition programs and advisory services. You will blend strategic leadership with technical nutrition expertise to strengthen our position in the poultry market and support customers with tailored nutrition strategies.

Role requires deep poultry nutrition knowledge, strong collaboration, and the ability to develop tools and training that improve production efficiency and margins.

Qualifications

• PhD in animal nutrition or animal sciences with poultry specialization.
• 3–7 years hands-on nutrition services in a commercial setting.
• Proficiency with feed formulation software and CRM tools; strong communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to translate technical data into actionable guidance for producers and management.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to lead within a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Poultry Nutrition Advisory & Leadership efforts, delivering strategic nutrition programs for layer producers.
• Serve as knowledge base and techno-commercial interface, analyzing economic parameters of production and ROI.
• Develop profitability modeling tools to project production, conversion, and cost metrics.
• Collaborate with research, formulations, and procurement to improve margins and ingredient sourcing.
• Provide technical support and training, and assist in sales processes and customer engagement.
• Represent TWG at industry events and contribute technical articles to elevate the company's leadership.
