Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Large Loss Contents Property Adjuster to inspect high-value contents claims at customers' homes, often traveling to site and coordinating with vendors. You will investigate coverage, write damage estimates, and negotiate settlements with empathy.

You will work with data to influence decisions, communicate clearly by phone, email, and video, and complete training including two weeks in Dallas, TX. A valid driver’s license and independent work ability are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• 3+ years using Xactimate for complex contents estimating.
• 3+ years handling large loss property contents.
• Clear and professional communication (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently from home.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer’s home to inspect large loss contents claims.
• Inspect and assess coverage and ensure policy is applied correctly.
• Use advanced video technology to collaborate with on-site vendors and write damage estimates.
• Communicate empathetically with customers and guide them through the claim process.
• Negotiate claim settlements in line with standard methodologies.
• Coordinate with structure adjusters for holistic claim handling.
• Use data/analytics to tell a story and influence decision making.
