Job summary

Brownswood Nursery, Inc. in Charleston, SC is seeking a Landscape Installation Foreman to lead a small crew from project start to finish, ensuring plans are executed with precision and installations stay on schedule and within budget.

You will supervise 2–3 landscape professionals, read plans accurately, and apply grading and drainage knowledge while maintaining a high standard of service and safety on the jobsite.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of landscaping/installation experience preferred.
• 1–2 years leading others in landscape installation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Charleston plant materials preferred.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and a budget-minded approach.
• Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to drive tractors with trailers is a plus (training available).

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a crew of 2–3 landscape professionals from project start to finish.
• Read and execute landscape plans and drawings with precision.
• Deliver high-quality installations on time and on budget.
• Apply working knowledge of grading, drainage, and construction fundamentals.
• Interact with clients and prospects in a professional, courteous manner that reflects our standard of service.
• Operate company tools and equipment safely, and uphold jobsite safety.
• Coach your crew—giving and receiving constructive feedback with respect.
